France has the ambition of having 100.000 charging points by the end of 2021. To reach this goal many more charging points will need to be installed. There are many market opportunities in France when it comes to electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Regarding smart charging there are still lots of steps to take in France. But with the rise of EV’s the demand for smart charging will also grow. The knowhow and years of experience from the Dutch side can have an important added value. Also for consultancy the years of experience of best and bad practices and the fact that Dutch consultancy groups are worldwide thought leaders regarding EV is an important added value for French parties.
The Netherlands embassy in France, RAI Automotive NL and DOET (Dutch Organisation for Electric Transport) are working together in a so called Partner in International Business Program (PIB) with a focus on smart and green mobility in France. These organisations, among others, have the desire to become more familiar with the French EV (Electric Vehicle) market and the opportunities it offers for Dutch companies and knowledge institutes. That is why they missioned The New Drive (Belgium) to make an opportunity report that documents opportunities for Dutch companies and knowledge institutes in regard to charging infrastructure, smart charging and consultancy.
The report will be presented online on February 9th from 2.30 till 4.00 pm.
