In Frankrijk vindt op 13 en 14 januari het ‘Hydrogen Business for Climate’ event -digitaal- plaats. Het wordt georganiseerd door het Franse automotive cluster ‘Pôle Véhicule du Futur’ samen met de regio Bourgogne-Franche-Comté en de stad Belfort, het hart van de Franse waterstof- en brandstofcelactiviteiten. Ook het EEN netwerk, de overkoepelende organisatie France Hydrogen en Hydrogen Europe zijn erbij betrokken.
Een BtoB matchmaking maakt deel uit van het event.

Om te noteren: 29 en 30 september: ‘live’ event
Op 29 en 30 september 2021 zal een –hopelijk!- fysiek event in de regio rond Belfort plaatsvinden met bezoeken aan researchlabs en bedrijven.

De organisatie van het event nodigt nadrukkelijk deelnemers uit Nederland uit om deel te nemen.

Hydrogen Business for Climate Forum
The Hydrogen Business For Climate Forum is a transnational event organised by the Pôle Véhicule du Futur competitiveness cluster in liaison with its partners the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté Regional Economic Development Agency, the ADN FC (the Economic Development Agency of Nord Franche-Comté), the CCI and the FC Lab, with support from the French State, the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté regional and the City and urban community of Belfort. The event will bring together 50 international experts and 300 participants, high-level executives from the public and private sectors, companies, politicians, academics, influencers and start-uppers to enable and speed up the emergence of a Europe of Hydrogen.

Given the changing health situation, it has been decided to hold the in-person event on 29–30 September 2021, if health conditions allow.

Hydrogen Business For Climate CONNECT
Hydrogen Business For Climate CONNECT will comprise two round table sessions in TV studio format, covering two main themes: the structural public and private ecosystems and French/German cooperation, with testimonies from key stakeholders in the sector at the national, European and international level. There will be an opportunity to interact with speakers during both sessions via a chat service. The live broadcast and the replay will be available free online in English and French.

B2B meetings
B2B meetings between participants will be planned ahead of the event and scheduled for the afternoon of 13 January with support from the CCI and the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN). They will mark out the first steps for future cooperation and provide businesses with an introduction to the regional ecosystem.

Support for stakeholders in the sector and anyone keen to get involved in the Hydrogen transition

From next February and until the in-person event, Hydrogen Business For Climate CONNECT will offer monthly meetings addressing hydrogen-related issues with support from its partners. Aspects such as Innovation, Research, Territories, Startup, Funding and International Development will be discussed to inspire stakeholders in the sector and to encourage them to move forward.

Online registrations will open on 20 November 2020.
