President Emmanuel Macron had unveiled a raft of measures aimed at luring foreign talent to France and fostering tech innovation as he seeks to cement the country’s position as a “startup nation”.
Speaking at the VivaTech conference on Thursday in Paris, the 39-year-old president, who is on course to win a parliamentary majority on Sunday, said that “France will become the leading country for hyper-innovation.”
He unveiled a 10bn fund to give visibility to innovation in France and create a more attractive environment for entrepreneurs.
