Do you want to showcase your innovative health solutions in Paris? The annual Doctors 2.0 & You conference, which takes place on 4 & 5 June 2015 in Paris, calls for participants for two separate awards. Both aim to identify and select the most innovative digital health solutions of this year.

1. Start-up award

The first award is specifically for start-ups. Doctors 2.0 & You encourages start-ups to attend their conference and the best and brightest to step forward and apply for the contest. Contest participants will benefit from exposure before, during and after the conference.

Visibility for Start-up Contestants includes:

• Mentions and interactions on social media from the Doctors 2.0 & You community

• Presence on the Doctors 2.0 & You website

• Presentation of your  pitch to our diversified jury and participants at the session

• Your own high table stand during the conference

• Networking with +400 participants

• More specific networking with key opinion leaders in healthcare social media from 5 continents.

A start-up is defined as a commercial or not-for-profit entity in digital health whose activity began after January 1, 2012. The service or product of the start-up must benefit patients and/or healthcare professionals. Candidates must provide responses to the questions below, and be approved by the conference consultative committee comprised of JC Loh, Denise Silber, and rotating ambassadors. In exchange for the visibility provided by the conference, contestants are asked to contribute to a start-up fee.

The 2015 Doctors 2.0 & You start-up winner and runner-up will be announced on June 5, 2015.  The winner will have the opportunity to present at Stanford Medicine X, in Palo Alto in September, 2015. The winner will also have the opportunity of exhibiting in Paris, June 2016, free of charge.

2. Global Mobile Apps, Games, Connected Objects Awards (GloMAGO) award

Doctors 2.0 & You encourages healthcare stakeholders including pharma, device, and tech industries, insurers, vendors and agencies, hospitals and clinics, not for profit associations, government to attend the conference and to compete in GloMAGO the Mobile App , Serious Game, and Connected Objects Contest.

If eligible to compete as per the rules below, participation in the contest will provide visibility during and after the event.

A presentation of the application/ game/ device will be visible to all participants on a screen in the Doctors 2.0 & You conference exhibit area.

Winners will be presented at the June 4th, evening award ceremony.

A 1000 Euro grand prize award will be attributed to the winning organization or to a charity of its choice. The winner will be chosen by the 5-person jury indicated in the instructions.

After the event, with the permission of the applicant, all submissions will be listed on the Doctors 2.0 & You web site and communication.

Selection Criteria and Process

The contest is open to registered participants attending Doctors 2.0 & You 2015 and representing a business or organization from among the following categories: pharma, device, and technology industries, insurers, vendors and agencies, hospitals and clinics, not for profit associations, government.

Participants of this contest must have a registered ticket at Doctors 2.0 & You and pay a supplement of 250 Euros before tax to enter the contest. One application per ticket will be allowed.

A representative of the organization must fill in the online application below before May 27, 2015. The applicant must also send in, via email, a pdf with 3 key screen captures of the application or object.

A representative of the organization must attend Doctors 2.0 & You on June 4, 2015.

The organization must be the owner or agreed representative of an mHealth application or Serious Game or Connected device.

The digital element submitted must bring a benefit to health prevention or a medical condition.-

It must have been launched between June 8, 2014 and April 22, 2015.

The evaluation will be made by an international jury, attending Doctors 2.0 & You. They are Andrea Borondy Kitts, Andrea Limbourg, Elie Lobel, Brandi Sinkfield, Iris Thiele Isip Tan.

No  employees of Doctors 2.0 & You or its vendors may apply for this contest.

In addition, a pdf with three key screen captures of the mobile application or images of the connected object must be submitted to the email below. The first page of the pdf should indicate the name of the app and the coordinates of the contact. The pdf file should be named Day/MonthLastName.pdf
